The 12.1-megapixel Lumix DMC-FS25 features a 5x optical zoom and a 29mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens, a 3.0-inch intelligent LCD and is the top-of-the-line FS-Series model. With the G1, Panasonic has developed an entirely new-concept digital camera that takes even greater advantage of the compactness and light weight inherent in the Four Thirds System Standard.

By increasing the number of electrical contacts between camera body and lens, Panasonic has also increased camera expandability and maximized the future potential of the G1, including compatibility with future features.

BAD points: No AV output cable included; no shutter speed, aperture controls.

Summary: With a wide-angle, megazoom lens, a quick Auto Focus system, and high-quality snapshot photos, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 is a great compact camera with megazoom.
