The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7K 7.2MP Digital Camera’s product details says: "battery type Oxyride AA" (which are included)

I want to know if I can use my alkaline rechargeable batteries on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ7K 7.2MP Digital Camera because I’m afraid I’ll have to go buy another special charger for the Oxyride batteries.

I don’t know a focal plane from an aperture, but I would like a camera that will take photos from indoors with poor lighting to outdoors at higher end of the zoom range and wide angle shots giving good results with few manual adjustments, maybe ISO settings adjustments. These two cameras have some impressive reviews. I like the size of the Panasonic, the 18x zoom and face detection features of the Fugifilm, but these issues aside, which camera would take the best photos?

I need my camera to be a compact (semi-compact) high zoom camera, which uses a Li-ion battery. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3K seems like the best deal, but I have heard about it having a not so good image quality under low light. I also have a casio z500 (i think) which has a terrible quality under low light.

Please tell me it is a joke that the Panasonic Lumix TZ5 does have a feature for automatically adding the photodate on the picture. I cannot believe that such a fundamental feature would not be available. Is it really so that you will have to stamp the date on the pictures manually (doing them in groups just as bad). Please! Someone tell me how it is done immediately and automatically.

I am looking for a cheap digital camera that can take good macro shots. Should I get a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ6S, which is 0 on Amazon? If not, can you tell me why I should not buy this camera, and recommend a better one for a similar or cheaper price?

I already have the Panasonic DMW-BCF10 Battery and it works fine, I was wondering if there were any other batteries out there that are safe to use in this camera and that will last longer? Also if anyone knows where to get SD cards for fair prices it would be greatly appreciated. The best price I have found is 8GB for .84, thats .73 per GB.
