   Recording time can’t be extended. Many cameras have such limits, and most are well below 20 minutes.

   Digital cameras aren’t designed to capture an entire 2 hour show, or an entire basketball game. They are supposed to record short clips. If you need long-term recording, you should be using a video camera.
