You’re very welcome! Please consider buying through the cameralabs . com website, as that’s the only thing that pays for the reviews!

What a great review of a great camera! I’ve had it for a year and a half, and guess what, this video just taught me a few things I’d never even tried. Dual play & multi aspect for example.
Main problems for me: I just wish the video format was something else than .mov and the audio quality could be a lot better. Maybe I’ll have a look at the TZ7…
Any suggestions on a cheap video editor for movs? I still haven’t found one that I really liked.

Are the video quality and the sound of the TZ5, same on the TZ6? I’m still doubting between those two…

I am using Tz5 since 8 months, very practical for travel,ng , video quality is really good 720p ! but not for low light conditions..Manuel focus is really missing point, good battery life. Concerning video editing, after long unsuccessful researches one software made me happy : Wondershare video converter platinum!

great review
Do you know if there’s a waterproof casing available for this model?

Not sure about the TZ5, but the latest version, the TZ7 / ZS3 does have an optional underwater housing – see my review at cameralabs . com.
